Caring for Our Water: Beyond World Water Day '26
Greetings everyone,

Thank you for being part of Monday’s opening Beyond World Water Day gathering. The session held a strong sense of presence, curiosity, and shared intention. We felt the depth of care for Water in every voice — and it’s clear there is still so much more to be heard.

Two minutes was just the beginning. Every drop counts.

We are here to support one another and empower our shared mission to care for, restore, and regenerate the living systems that sustain us — beginning with revitalizing our watersheds of the great Water bodies of the Earth, and the communities dependent upon them.
We are now opening the next phase: Onward to Earth Day ‘26

Over the coming weeks, we will host presentations and collaborative sessions inside the COP30 Maloca space and on Zoom. These are designed for deeper connection, clearer signals, and the emergence of practical next steps through collective intelligence.
Indeed, modern technology offers us – while we’re spread across the planet – the proper virtual environment to get ready for Earth Day ’26 in a momentum-driven way. One that goes not only Beyond World Water Day but also beyond reading words from a paper or a website. These could be actual steps, if we may.
We’re inviting you to gather and Be.Together on both platforms, birthing and perfecting ideas, and ideally helping some of your eco-wishes and dreams become reality sooner rather than later, through the power of Mutirão. Yes, we’re talking about our togetherness accelerating, consolidating – growing a seed into a sapling – and even transitioning to immediate action, where it is possible.
Every day is Earth Day, but this will be a special one for all of humanity; that’s undeniable. The heart of the Earth beats every 26 seconds!
Let’s Be.Together this month – and Be. active – preparing to celebrate Earth Day ’26 in a dynamic manner. How else could we better align ourselves with the Earth's heartbeat? Maybe some ideas shared and shaped during the Hatch-a-thon will hatch this spring or this summer. Maybe some projects already happening will reach and enrich each others’ communities in far-away countries. And then, the distance won’t matter as much. After all, the heartbeat is one, wherever we are on the planet.
There’s one way to find out: submit a proposal, or ‘just’ show up at the sessions. Brainstorming and networking are equally powerful, and an incredible source of inspiration.
Let’s converge to emerge emergency action plans, from now until Earth Day ’26.
Tell others.
🌊 Three ways to engage now:
1) Submit a proposal as soon as possible — Present or host a session. Contribute. Nominate trusted speakers in your network.
We invite you to share your work, ideas, or projects for a presentation inside the Maloca. Your prompt responses matter. The sooner we hear from you – preferably before Monday, March 30th – the sooner we will be able to share the proposed event dates. We are coordinating with the COP30 Maloca team, based on your answers and the availability on the platform.
